This week we celebrate National Puppy Day. Being a national puppy myself I thought I show you a few of my more fetching poses in honor of the big day. I also thought I’d take this opportunity to make a pitch for puppy adoption.
Did you know that approximately 4 million adoptable dogs & cats are killed each year? Twenty- five to thirty percent of the dogs waiting for adoption in shelters are purebred like me. The other 70-75%, are lovable mixed-breed pets, just waiting for a chance to be your new BFF (best furry friend). If you’re able to give a good home to a pet, you can get more information online from Adopt-a-Pet or the Iams adopt-a-pet campaign. (which includes the helpful article, Ready to Adopt? What you Need to Know).
